What is Askr?

One place to use every major AI model (chat, code, images, video and audio), paying only for what you use, with no subscriptions.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Askr is pay-per-use. You top up a balance and spend it as you go. If you don’t use Askr, you pay nothing.

Is my usage private?

Yes. Sign-up is minimal, you can fund with crypto, and we keep what we hold about you to a minimum.

How do I pay?

Fund your balance with cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, ETH or SOL) or with a Visa card. Apple Pay and Google Pay are coming soon. However you pay, your balance is held as USDT, a dollar-pegged stablecoin, so it keeps a steady value.

What are credits?

Credit is like money on a prepaid card. You add some, and each request (a chat reply, an image, a video) costs a small amount from it. Every model shows its price up front.

Why crypto?

It’s private (no card details), works anywhere in the world, and payments are final, with no chargebacks or hidden fees. Card and wallet options sit alongside it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the model and how much you use. Simple models cost a fraction of a cent, and the most powerful cost a little more. You always see the price and your remaining balance.

Do my credits expire?

Your balance stays on your account until you use it. (Confirm final expiry/refund policy before launch.)

Which models can I use?

The latest across every category: GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek and Grok for text and code; FLUX, Nano Banana and others for images; Kling, Runway and more for video; ElevenLabs for audio. New models are added as they launch.

How do I switch between models?

Pick a different model in the workspace, or change one string in an API request. Because you only pay per request, trying another model costs nothing extra. See Models.

Building on the API.

Can developers build on Askr?

Yes, there’s a full, OpenAI-compatible API. Point your existing code at Askr by changing the base URL and key. See the API Reference.

Do I need an API key?

Only if you’re building programmatically. Everyday use in the workspace needs no key. When you’re ready to build, generate one and follow the Quickstart.
